Swimsuits with Sleeves – SwimZip in “The Boston Globe”

Swimsuits with sleeves are one of the hottest trends in swimwear because they offer fantastic UV sun protection.  With the link between UV exposure and skin cancer, getting swimsuits with sleeves, like those from SwimZip, makes total sense!  This week, The Boston Globe ran a story about swimwear with sleeves (“What Do You Look for in a Swimsuit?  Sleeves.”) and made big mention of SwimZip’s fantastic line of kids swimwear with sleeves:

The rash guard is on the rise. Born of necessity, the protective surf shirts, worn in the water or out, are becoming the must-have summer accessory for adults and kids alike. …

Levine, a physician who does health care consulting, bought one rash guard style at Tommy Bahama, but found her favorite ones at Swimzip, an e-commerce website founded by Betsy Johnson, a skin cancer survivor. Levine said Swimzip is especially well-known for its children’s styles, but the adult ones are both flattering and well-priced.”

This picture from The Boston Globe (featuring four SwimZip swimsuits) is part of a story highlighting the importance of swimsuits with sleeves.

SwimZip rash guard swimsuits with long sleeves are perfect for a day at the beach or pool.  Sand and water make for particularly intense UV environments because the sun’s rays bounce off the beach and water.

SwimZip’s signature full length zipper on our UPF 50+ long sleeve rash guard swim shirts make them incredibly easy to put-on and take-off (which is not easy when the long sleeve rashguards get wet).

So, for swimsuits with sleeves (kids swimwear and adults), be sure to go to SwimZip and order a set for the whole family!
